Now onto part 2 of this countdown. I recommend checking out Part 1 first here-

Here are my rules again too.

- I had to have caught it myself (so if I neglect to mention one it's because of this rule)

- Memorable

- I have know the source material

- 1 per franchise (like there are multiple Indiana Jones references in MLP, I'd only pick one)

Let's continue.

6. Johnny colt- The Shining

The Shining Reference

Wow another Horror reference! Yeah again I haven't seen this movie, but I am familiar with some of it's icon scenes. Granted I didn't get this reference until that door open with the Smooze, which is why it's not higher lol. But yeah this was still a good one from Make New Friends but Keep Discord.

5. 3:10 to Goof Off - 3: 10 to Yuma

MLP 3.10 to Goof Off
3.10 To Yuma

All the western references made in this episode alone were great from "Who are you stranger?" to High Noon. I picked the one that I thought was the most obscure since I didn't hear many mention it, so I am happy I caught it. I have never seen this movie, but I remember hearing the title and it just stuck with me. Plus I think it got some hype behind it due to who the main actors were. But yeah I thought the set up for this reference was clever too when Twilight mentions to Pinkie that it was 3 pm and Pinkie says, "Make it 3:10 to GOOF OFF!" Haha.

4. Dr. Whooves bowling- Flintstones

(Reference is from 4:00 to 4:08)

Fred Flintstone bowling

This short and sweet reference is high up due to the fact that I only know 1 other person who spotted this reference, and that is Animated James in the Bronies React to Slice of Life. I laughed at this one since I did watch a lot of Hanna Barbera cartoons when I was a kid. And sorry to all you Whovians, I wasn't even aware of this show until I join the fandom. Even then I didn't know what was a reference until it was pointed out.

3. Princess Luna in Sparkle's Seven - Bond Villain Blofeld

Princess Luna in Sparkle Seven
Blofeld

Another reference to this iconic James Bond villain. Dr. Claw from Inspector Gadget is another time he got referenced. This is my fav the funniest representation and it's a bit ironic too since Luna was originally a villain haha. The whole set up was very clever because the only way to keep the gees calm was to pet them and Luna not being happy with Celesta, man a lot of steps when into building this reference up and I love it lol. I wonder if Blofeld was shown with his cat, petting him gently was to give the viewer a false security or even show a 'gentle side' to him. It's a nice paradox regardless.

2. Kunzite and Sailor Venus Ponies - Sailor Moon

Kunzite and Venus Pony
Kunzite and Venus

Of course I had to add a Sailor Moon reference for there were several. The one to make me geek out the most was the ponies representing Kunzite and Sailor Venus. Here's some context to those not familiar with this canon ship. This was NEVER addressed in the manga, but Naoko Takeuchi (creator of Sailor Moon) did a picture that had all the inner scouts and 4 generals, who originally served under Prince Endymion (Tuxedo Mask), as couples. You can see a bit of that photo here. Well in the Sailor Moon Crystal reboot, they did include the romance into show, only to kill the 4 generals at the same time and it completely broke the Moonie fandom, including my friends and I who saw this. This was before S6 aired, so you can imagine how happy I was to see these 2 ponies in the premiere. So why isn't my fav anime not #1? Because with #1, I don't know ANYONE else who caught the reference (not even KP caught it) and Big Jim confirmed the reference for me saying I was the first to notice it.

Before we get to #1, here are more Honorable Mentions.

HM4. Two Ponies Dancing- Dirty Dancing

Dirty Dancing Reference

You had to be quick to get this reference to one of my fav movie musicals. This was in the background and I loved it from the On Your Marks episode.

HM5. Discord, Spike, and Big Mac Playing Poker- Dogs Playing Poker

MLP Playing Poker
Dogs Playing Poker

Being the art and dog lover I am, of course I know about this well known painting series, and looks like someone on the staff does too lol. I wanted to showcase that the moment when Discord, Big Mac, and Spike playing cards is a reference to this series, particularly this painting since it's the only one with a collie in it.

HM6. Mane 6 say "Hungry hippos" - Hungry, hungry hippos game

MLP Hungry Hippos
Hungry hungry hippos

Talk about a blast from my past. Yeah I caught this reference quickly from the MLP Gen 4 movie and I laughed my head up. This was a game I played as a kid an well, we broke it because I tend to slam things very easily due to having quick reflexes.

  1. Sunburst Inserts the Purity Crystal - Dark Crystal

The Crystaling Sunburst saves the day
Jen Heals the Dark Crystal

Thinking about it, I am not surprised no one else I know of got this reference since the source is still a cult classic despite The Dark Crystal being a creation of the legendary Jim Henson. So unlike other references, this reference is pretty obscure although both premises are very similar. Sunburst has to use the purity crystal in order to heal the Crystal Heart and save the Crystal Empire. Jen, the main protagonist from this movie, has to use a crystal shard to heal the Dark Crystal, thus saving the world he lives in before evil will reign over the land forever. Seriously folks, I highly recommend this movie if your a Jim Henson fan or a lover of fantasy. But yeah, I tweeted Big Jim (on of DHX's producers) about this moment and he did confirm it and was surprised I noticed it. So yeah I am SOO happy to have caught it and this is why it's my fav MLP reference.

I don't know which list I'll do next. I do plan on tackling my most sentimental and funniest moments from Gen 4. But I may redo a list I did some years ago next- my fav MLP Lessons. After that I'll be doing the big guns- Fav MLP Seasons and my Worst and Best Episodes of the Series. Even then, I won't be done with Gen 4 because I want to do lists connected to the Brony Fandom itself. Anyway, I hope ya'll liked my list. What were some of ya'll's fav references from Gen 4?

Finally getting back to my Gen 4 lists. Now one unique thing that Gen 4 MLP does is reference other sources and I just love these little Easter Eggs, from titles of episodes to things in the background! This was the hardest list for me to do to date because there were SO many. I've picked out my 12 favs. Here are the ground rules-

- I had to have caught it myself (so if I neglect to mention one it's because of this rule)

- Memorable

- I have know the source material

- 1 per franchise (like there are multiple Indiana Jones references in MLP, I'd only pick one)

Now let's roll out! I am including the Show, Movie, and EQG.

12. Sunset as Flanksy - Reference to Artist Banksy

Sunset as Flanksy
Banksy Balloon Girl London

This EQG short did a great job covering the mysterious nature of the artist known as Banksy. To this day, I still don't think anyone know who the artist is. There's a reason why he/she hasn't been caught, because what Banksy is doing is technically illegal lol. I love artistic references and this was probably my fav one. At least in this version, we find out who the artist is lol.

11. Rara's Capsule- Lady Gaga's Red Carpet Entrance at 53rd Grammy's

MLP Rara entrance
Gaga entrance

Yeah my jaw dropped when I saw both entrances. I remember that Gaga remained in that 'pod' until her Grammy performance. How she stayed still for that long, I'll never know. Props to those who carried her. But yeah, I got the Lady Gaga reference right off the bat when I saw Rara's arrival. While I am not a fan of modern pop (2010s and onward), I do think Gaga is one of the last great pop artists before everything became so auto-tuned.

10. Discord Military Uniform - From the movie, Patton

Discord as General Patton
Patton Movie

You knew a Discord moment had to make this list, this char just has so many references. My fav is this one. I actually had to watch this movie in High School in World History when we covered WWII. Didn't like it but the first few minutes of this movie was pretty iconic. No surprise MLP referenced this moment through Discord. We do see this uniform again in S9 in the Big Mac Question, but this moment from S4 finale was the first time we see this, so I am picking this one.

9. Traveling Line Sequence in Daring Don't- Indiana Jones franchise

(Note- Sorry I couldn't find an image I could use of the map sequence)

MLP Red Line
Indian Jones map

Yeah I did find a gif link of the traveling line sequence, but DA won't let me use it, oi. Anyway, I may not like the episode this sequence is from, but I still loved the reference to one of my fav movie franchises (Raiders of the Lost Ark being one of my fav 80s movies). Seeing it was Pinkie who made that line was just a funny. The show had plenty of Indiana Jones references, but I found this one to be the most impactful since it was my first experience with an Indiana Jones reference (S4 was the first season I watched live) and I always enjoyed the traveling line sequence from this franchise.

8. "Show me the muddy!" - "Show me the money!" from Jerry Maguire

(Disclaimer- I did not make this picture compilation)

MLP Show me the muddy
Show Me the Money

While I've never seen the full movie, I have heard about and seen this moment and it's glorious haha. I actually thought Rarity did say "money", but muddy makes more sense. While both situations are clearly different, both have a sense of urgency. Rarity willing to get dirty to save her sister is sweet too. But yeah Tom Cruise's character, Jerry Maguire, is desperate to stay as the agent of Cuba Gooding Jr's char here and acts the fool to remain so lol. That's what I think is the context is of this scene.

7. 28 Pranks Later- 28 Days Later

28 Pranks Later
28 Days Later

Give the show props for going into the Horror genre, wow! I may never have seen this movie (hence the lower ranking), but I still have heard of it, so when I saw the title of this S6 episode, my jaw did drop and I wondered how the show was going to tackle 'zombies'. Brilliantly actually lol.

Here are some honorable mentions, going in chronological order.

Honorable Mention 1. "Twilight get my rope" - 1980s Pace Picante Sauce Commercial

Twilight Get my Rope

One of the funniest lines AJ has said and it comes from this iconic commercial lol. It just took me a while to remember what AJ was referencing, hence why it didn't make the official list. Pace was originally a Texas brand (until Cambell's bought it) so heck yeah I want to reference anything connected to my state lol.

HM2. Rarity as Shadow Spade - Carmen Sandiego

Rarity as Shadow Spade
Carmen Sandiego

Carmen Sandiego is one of the reasons why I fell in love with the mystery genre (as well as interest in traveling) so I was happy when MLP referenced her. Shadow Spade char is a double reference, with her red coat a reference to this gaming icon and the name a reference to Sam Spade from the Maltese Falcon.

HM3. Jem Pony - Jem and the Holograms

Jem Pony
Jem and the Holograms

Being a child of the 80s, I had to do a double take when I saw that Jem pony in the background of Scaremaster lol. I could never get into the Jem show itself surprisingly. I think because I didn't like the idea of Jem having a 'double identity' and it was filled with the kind of drama I wasn't into. Did like the music though.

Hopefully Part 2 will be up in the next few days. Let me know what ya'll think of my list so far and what are some of your favs?

I haven't made this kind of post in ages, when I talk about things that are on my mind. I think now is a good time to do since I know what I want to say. Last year and even the start of this year has been tough for people in general. Am I surprised by the behaviors I've seen online and in real life? Actually no I am not. I am of the believe to expect the worse, but hope for the best. This is especially true when it comes to people. I've said in the past that I have lived other lives, especially ancient times or times that were even 'pre-dated'. I've seen how much worse things can get even then this. I won't go into detail, but it really saddens me to see history continually repeat itself. Humans never seem to learn from their ancestors. Of course I shouldn't be surprised seeing how much Corruption has spread. It's been festering for ages and now it's about to blow, that's what I feel at least. I am an Empath and even though it's a double edge sword, I am grateful that I am able to feel things others can't. I can sense when something isn't right. I do what I can to make things easier for others to say the least. If I want good things to happen, I need to do it myself. Let's hope that the good I do is the good for the world though. That's the most important thing when it comes to my actions. Thank God I have those who believe in the same things I do and that I can trust my life and even soul to them. Things may and probably will get more crazy from here on out, but I won't give up. I've been through worse. I will continue to fight anything that is Corrupted with the love I feel for this life and this world. I pray humans learn from these things that are happening because one never knows what the future holds.

Even though recent events aren't surprising me, I am still affected by them. The pure animosity that is spreading through Twitter saddens me to no end. I know most people don't use it (I am the only one in my family that uses it). People are willing to judge others so easily. When did it become wrong to disagree? You're going to let one thing dictate your actions and views? Yeah, it seems people keep on making those kinds of decisions. There's only so many times you can do that before karma comes your way and you'll have to reap what you sow. I've had to learn lessons the hard way myself and I am SOOO lucky I had the change to learn from them. I want to help others so much, but until certain things happen, there's only so much I can do, and that saddens me a great deal. I'll keep on hoping. Nothing's going to stop me from keeping the faith.

I think I've said enough for now. As I've said, I love life so much and I will keep on fighting for a world that is in balance so things can be as they should be. Many blessings to all of you and pray things will work out because it may not be that way for a good while.

Before continuing, I suggest ya'll check out Part 1 in case your fav is from that list-

Okay, now to finish off this list. I won't be dilly dallying too much here. Here's a reminder of the rules and how I ranked them-

-Mentions and cameos don't count

-Impact on Episode(s)

-Memorability

-Entertaining

And please remember this is my opinion. Let know what your fav guest appearances are! Feedback is appreciated.

7. Double Diamond

I gushed over this character after the Season 5 premiere. He definitely has one of my fav pony designs in the show. White is my favorite color people so yeah I am biased lol. DD also has a very unique voice. Props to Brian Drummond wow! I know he's done multiple voices for the show, talk about range! What I also loved about DD was how he was really the first pony to rebel against Starlight and that iconic moment of him breaking that glass that freed all of the cutiemarks. He isn't higher though because I do have to admit that in the S6 finale, I felt it was rather odd just how eager he and the others of Starlight's old villagers were to include Starlight into the festivities. I found that to be more creepy then their brainwashed personalities in the S5 premiere. But I still love DD and he will always been a memorable character for me.

6. Party Favor

Similar to the 2 Pillars from Part I of this list, Party Favor and DD were pretty much neck and neck, but what put Party Favor over DD was two things- he was more entertaining and I felt he was more courageous when he didn't have to be. Party Favor never really stood out to me individually until the 2nd part of the Premiere when he gave himself up to Starlight. Plus some of the faces he's done are just hilarious, especially the "But I didn't listen!" look. Plus his one line in the MLP movie got a laugh out of me. I did get a little Pinkie vibe when it came to his special talent of making crazy things just out of ONE balloon. Him making a huge bridge out that was just amazing! Much like DD though, he's not higher for the same reason as DD.

5. Torch

Now onto the top 5! Torch really had only one major appearance and it was brief, but his actions were great enough to put him this high on the list. Um, to those who don't remember Torch, he's Ember's father. What helps him come this high are the things he actually didn't do. For one thing, the fact that the Dragons NEVER invaded Equestria (at least when Torch was in charge), is pretty interesting considering just how hostile dragons were to ponies. Also, I did like how Torch was gruff and bossy in the fun way, unlike another dragon *looking at you Garble*. Torch first impressed me when he actually listened to Spike not just once but twice by allowing him to leave, but then enter back into the contest. I know it wasn't because he cared (because he didn't care), but the fact that he even listened is saying something. What really earned him a higher spot on this list though was how he also listened to his daughter Ember and even admitted it might be time for a change. I really liked that! Only reason he's not higher is because I enjoyed the final 4 more.

4. Twilight Velvet

Oh, we now have one of the Mane 6's parents. Unlike her daughter, I found Twilight Velvet to be a consistently good char. Granted, she wouldn't have made this list if she didn't have a major speaking role in Once Upon a Zeppelin, but I still liked her cameos and even her brief appearance from the S6 premiere. From the flashbacks that Twily mentions in both Cutie Mark Chronicles and Sparkle's Seven, it appears that her parents did their best to raise their daughter. Night Light's personality didn't really stand out to me though and that's why he's not on this list. Twilight's adventurous and competitive spirit though was a welcome surprise and I loved how she was portrayed in Once Upon a Zeppelin. It wouldn't surprise me if Cadence's thrill-seeking personality reminded Shining of his mother and that's one of the reasons he fell for her lol. There is one thing though that I didn't like about Twilight Velvet, and that's her gullible nature. The fact that she didn't read the fine print of Iron Will's contract really irked. Still, give me more Twilight Velvet then Twilight Sparkle any day.

3. Pear Butter aka Buttercup

*Raises shields up* Oh boy, I can hear the fans now, wondering why best MILF isn't #1. Well, it was hard, but the I just enjoyed the other 2 a bit more. It's amazing though just how well develop AJ's mom is in just the span of 1 episode. I know AJ's parents have been asked about for a long time and their appearance really made them fan favs for great reasons. I really love Buttercup's design (I see what you did there animators will her mane style!). She and Bright Mac had so much courage in just trying to see each other, despite on how much their parents hated each other. Buttercup does have a sweet singing voice and she really earned my respect by still going through with the wedding. It did break my heart in how she was force to choose between Bright Mac and her Pear family. I've heard some people wonder why Buttercup just didn't stay to begin with. Well it's a traditional thing. When growing up on a farm or ranch, it's custom for families to stay together and that the only way to 'leave it' traditionally is if someone marries into another family (mostly it's when a daughter marries). So yeah, Buttercup gets top marks for her actions for sure. I do have to add that it was nice to finally see Buttercup and Bright Mac in one of AJ's flash backs in S9.

2. Bright Macintosh

Seeing how I just gushed about Buttercup, it should be too surprising that Bright Mac is also up this high. His dedication to helping out Buttercup is just amazing. Deciding between who was going to be 2 and 3 was just SO hard because I love them both. What did it for me though was the fact that Bright Mac made me laugh, first with him getting distracted by Pear Butter and crashing into the Silo (I see where AJ's 'destructive nature' comes from haha) and then him pretending to be Pear Butter lol. Him coming up with that shotgun wedding on the spot was just crazy and smart. Much like AJ, I do love Bright Mac's honest nature. You know, I loved how each of the Apple Siblings got a bit of their parents in them. I have to say I would want a guy like Bright Mac, someone who's brave and dedicated to helping those they love. So why isn't "#1 Dad" at the number 1 spot? Well I'll tell you, after these honorable mentions lol.

HM #5- Countess Coloratura aka Rara

When I first heard the premise of the Mane Attraction, I was concerned about this character being bratty. Suffice to say I was happy to see this wasn't the case and Rara proved to be a very interesting character. Still Rara herself wasn't as memorable as others and that's why she didn't make the list. Yes I did get all of the Lady Gaga references involving this character.

HM #6- Vapor Trail

I'll be honest, the biggest reasons why I like Vapor Trail so much is because of her design and the fact that I do ship her with Sky Stinger (I call their ship name Sky Vapor lol). Other then that she doesn't have much of a personality outside of her need to help Sky. It was great to see her grow as a char though.

HM #7- Sans Smirk

Talk about subverting expectations, I honestly was expecting Sans to be the 'antagonist' of The Last Laugh, but no, he is genuinely a nice guy who did want to help Cheese Sandwich. By now ya'll know I enjoy dry humor and Sans' nonchalant demeanor was fun to watch lol. Still he wasn't as entertaining or as impactful as Mudbriar so yeah, he didn't make the list.

HM #8- Petunia Petals

Out of the characters from Rainbow Roadtrip, I ended up like Petunia the most. For one thing, she has a very cute design and when her color came back, it looked even better. Plus I love her voice. It was pretty obvious the staff was going for a Midwestern accent for most of the residents of Hope Hollow. I also like of how supportive of Sunny Skies she was and that's what earns her a mention at least because she never turned her back on him. I did like how Sunny proposed to her too hehe.

1. Cheese Sandwich

Those who have known me for a while will remember how huge of a CheesePie shipper I am (I literally freaked out when that ship became canon in the series finale lol). So it's probably no surprise that Cheese is my #1 pick. Did ya'll know those that the ONLY reason I gave Pinkie Pride a chance was because I found out Weird Al was going to be in this episode? I found out about the premise, I did not want to watch it. Needless to say Cheese Sandwich was AMAZING in this episode. Just how he and Pinkie bounced off of each other was pure entertaining. But what surprised me the most was Cheese's apology to Pinkie in how he never meant to take her place. I have seen it happen where someone is just so excited to impress someone, they go overboard, but at least here it was funny. I was hoping this character would make another appearance and when I found out he was coming back at one point, I was over the moon. His portrayal in The Last Laugh was also I nice surprise because we got to see what happens when someone loses their way and trying to remember why they love doing something to begin with. So yeah I love Cheese and it wasn't hard to put him at #1.

And there you have it. Seeing how Cheese made so many Weird Al references, well, next up will be my fav MLP References hehe. Now that might take some time since there are SO MANY! Anyway I hope ya'll enjoyed the list. Please tell me your thoughts, thanks!

I could just do a Top 10 for this one, there are too many guest appearances lol. Now, when I say Guest Appearance, I do mean MLP chars that have had only major appearance in 3 episodes or less. In other words they had a major contribution to the main storyline. Here are the rules I set for myself to in how I ranked this list, because it was HARD!

-Mentions and cameos don't count

-Impact on Episode(s)

-Memorability

-Entertaining

Please remember that this is my list people okay? So please respect my opinion. I would love feedback too. Anyway, on with the countdown.

15. Zephyr Breeze

I am probably shocking people with this once since I know A LOT of people dislike the char. Here's the thing though, Zephyr is pretty much the manifestation of a few of my worst vices, so I can't really hate the guy. I have an ego, am lazy, have commitment issues, and I do have manipulative tendencies. Not to mention I have compared myself to my other siblings and felt they've done much better in many areas then myself. Zephyr though does get major points down for being a bit of a creeper and for getting rid of his parents' things. Still I love just how much of a duche he is. He's also a great singer.

14. Somnambula

Talk about a huge departure from her G1 counterpart. In Gen 1, Somnambula was not only evil, but human lol. Actually she was an evil enchantress, but still human. I guess it should be no surprise that one of the Pillars makes this list. Somnambula is my 2nd fav of them, mostly because of her backstory. That's what earns her a place on this list. I really love clever characters and plus Somnambula's element was Hope, something I strongly believe in. Plus I love her character design. One reason why she's this low though is because of the fact that she and the Pillars lost to easily to Tirek and the fact that she judged Stygian so harshly without hearing his explanation.

13. Meadowbrook

It was hard deciding on who I enjoyed more between #13 and #14 because I enjoyed both. Meadowbrook though I felt had the harder task between the 2 and that's why she's higher then Somnambula. Trying to find a cure for a deadly disease would seem impossible, but Meadowbrook did! To me, it be the equivalent of finding a cure for cancer. However, much like the previous entry, the fact that Meadowbrook fell so easily to Tirek and was too judgemental towards Stygian. I will give her a bit of a brake though, she is a Healer, so her magic I feel wouldn't be as useful as in a fight.

12. Quibble Pants

Quibble is an interesting character. Normally I don't like characters that complain too much or try to make a point, but in this case, Quibble's personality has just enough humor and wit for me to enjoy him for the most part. Plus he's right most of the time. I will admit though, he does get on my nerves in Stranger then Fanfiction and sadly, I felt in Common Ground his performance wasn't as memorable, even though I did like what they did with his character. I do think his best moment, personally, was how he figured out the puzzle Daring Do tried to do and came up with a solution to get out of that temple. Him trying to win over his special somepony's daughter was sweet, but how he went about it at first was cringy at times. Still Quibble is an fun character overall.

11. Pistachio

Despite his brief appearance in Best Gift Ever, Pistachio made such a big impact on me, that I had to include him on this list. It was really sweet to meet a Rarity fan and Pistachio in some ways reminded me of myself, going into full detail on something I know at random lol. Have to mention his parents for supporting their son in doing something he loves. What really made this colt stand out though was how he realized the hat wasn't originally for him and was willing to depart with it. How many kids are like that? He was definitely a major contribution to why Rarity's segment was my favorite of the 7.

10. Mudbriar

Again another character I know a good number of people don't like. However, much like Zephyr, I can relate to this guy lol. I tend to think Mudbriar is the pony equivalent of Big Bang Theory's Sheldon Cooper. It also wouldn't surprise me if his name was a reference to the phrase, "A stick in the mud", especially since Mudbriar loves sticks. I think the moment I really started liking Mudbriar though was when he uses his 'mind palace'. That had me in stitches because it reminded me of my own way to 'store information' because I compare my memory to that of a filing cabinet lol. But him saying technically a lot did get annoying at times. I still love his relationship with Maud though. I can't help but wonder though on how and why he opened his eyes when dealing with the cockatrice. It's actually another reason why he's at this position. Still despite on how crappy Season 8 was, it sure did good to introduce a fun character.

9. Limestone Pie

I do like the Pie family as a whole and Limestone is one of my favs (besides Maud of course lol). Her harsh demeanor is definitely warranted but, it's also why she's in the middle of the road. What definitely makes her entertaining though is the fact that she is brutally honest and makes good points. I tend to be very possessive of what I see as mine and the way Limestone acted when AJ made those changes to Pie farm really made me relate to her. I also loved her brief appearance in The Maud Couple when she set Pinkie straight by pointing out that just because Pinkie doesn't understand Mudbriar, the fact that Maud likes him should still mean something. Yeah she's awesome.

8. Alice

Alice is a lot like Pistachio in the sense she doesn't have a lot of screen time (and that's why she's at this spot), but she makes up for it by being very memorable in The Best Gift Ever. I love her personality where she enjoys knowing 'everything that is going to happen'. It's really what help set her apart from her older sisters. I have to say that Aurora, Bori, and Alice, with their appearances, it wouldn't surprise me if they were a reference to the 3 Fates, Urd the crone (past), Verdandi the mother (present), and Skuld the maid (future). And yes I got the other reference to the Northern lights lol. Anyway, Alice was a joy to watch and her line, "You will", had me chuckling.

Now here are some honorable mentions.

Honorable Mention #1. Gilda

Being the one of the first non-ponies to appear in the show, Gilda didn't make a great first impression, even though I could understand her frustration with Pinkie. If it wasn't for her treatment of Flutters, she might have made the list. Her portrayal in The Lost Treasure of Griffonstone though is what earns her this mention though for she was just funny to watch and how she did take on the task to help make her kind better was commendable.

HM #2. Coco Pommel

Coco was adorable in Rarity Takes Manehatten but that's not why she's getting mentioned. It was her courage to actually quit her job and fix the wrongs Suri did. Plus her wanting to revive the Midsummer Theater was just nice too. But she didn't make the list simply because I liked other chars more.

HM #3- Tree Hugger

Now this is one unique pony. However I felt her demeanor was a bit too cliche for my liking and she was a little annoying in her major appearance. Still how she dealt with the Smooze was impressive and I wasn't expecting her method to 'save the day'. Plus it was nice to see her not fully forgive Discord for his actions.

HM #4- Derpy

Man can I hear the fans complaining now lol. Let me just say her first major appearance didn't do her any favors when she caused that building to collapse. I did love her in the 100th episode though. While she did have 2 minor roles in S4 and S6, there had no effect on the episode so they count. She was funny in Best Gift Ever though. Still, her contributions were too big and that's why she didn't make the list, but I still wanted to mention her.

Okay that's it for now. Hopefully part 2 will come out soon.
