I am back to be doing bday stuff!  Which makes me so happy because I haven't done anything since Josh's bday.

People tend to associate Eli with her 'rage' when they don't realize how nice of a person she is.  I decided for her bday gift to portray her in the exact opposite way as she's perceived.  This proved to be a challenge and I wanted to so badly to do well because if I want to get commissions, I need to improve.  I love that background!  Hint for artists when dealing with colors- use a compliment for background with some analogous colors of your primary colors that are in the main subject.  I actually have alot of greens in the background.

Anyway, happy bday Eli!!
